HNIC's senior online reporter Tim Wharnsby dishes out the latest news, buzz and inside information in the hockey world. 1. Teams won't be lining up to begin the NHL regular season in Europe. In the end, Pittsburgh was able to overcome a slow start to win the Stanley Cup after their European excursion last season. This year, however, the Chicago Blackhawks are the only team coping. They have a 5-3-0 record since arriving back from Helsinki four weeks ago. The Detroit Red Wings (3-2-2), St. Louis Blues (2-4-1) and Florida Panthers (1-5-1) have gone a combined 6-11-4 in North America. 2.
