Somewhere closer to reality is that Toews likely sustained a concussion when the Canucks Willie Mitchell crushed him Wednesday night with an open-ice check. After the hit, Toews was face-down on the ice for a moment. Only when his hockey instincts took over did the 21-year-old get to his skates in an effort to reach the Hawks' bench.
