John Fisher go from strength to strength but last season's semi-finalists in the Daily Mail RBS U18 Cup are determined not to get carried away by thoughts of Twickenham glory this time around. The Purley school claimed the prestigious St Joseph's title by beating Bedford 15-8 in the final of the 16-team tournament at Ipswich last weekend. It was only the second time they had been invited but recognition that they have established themselves as a real force in the game. Paul Sackey's old school scored more tries and points than anyone and Bedford came into the festival unbeaten. John Fisher had only been defeated by RGS High Wycombe this season and were delighted to turn them over 12-8 in a group game, even if it was only 10 minutes each way.
