In regard to the Sunday front page of The State Journal-Register: Why are car owners with loud music being the only people fined? I clearly understand why the city is outraged with the booming of the car stereo, but let me ask, have some of these alderman ever sat next to a motorcycle with your window down at a stop light? Some of these motorcycles have louder pipes than most of these car stereos and hurt your ears in a different way. Almost on a daily basis, I have to endure the excruciating pain in my ears and head from the motorcycle taking off or just showing off. Why should I have to plug my ears at a stoplight for a motorcycle? So I guess my question for the alderman is, why are you so inclined to persecute the loud stereo owners but not the motorcycle owners who pollute our streets every day also? Could it be maybe...
