Des Moines police, Target Corp. award crime fighters

They are ordinary people: neighbors, grocery store customers, construction workers and commuters. Yet when faced with extraordinary circumstances, they acted quickly and decisively. They stopped a crook from getting away. They gave aid to a hit-and-run victim. They helped a lost child find his parents. Des Moines police and Target Corp. recently recognized 16 people with Crime Fighter Community Service and Humanitarian Awards that stem from incidents over the past year.
