Getzlaf goes back to the middle of the ice as the Ducks look at other changes. ANAHEIM -- The Ducks' power play hasn't been going anywhere for four games, so Coach Randy Carlyle has decided to move one of the unit's biggest pieces. Center Ryan Getzlaf mostly has been used on the point on the power play, alongside the roving Scott Niedermayer. But the team's recent struggles with the man advantage have forced them to take another look at Getzlaf down in front. "We think that we've lost some playmaking down on the side wall, so we're going to move him back into the middle and see what we can come up with," Carlyle said. The move presumably will take better advantage of Getzlaf, who has the size to bang down low and the hands to score and pass in traffic.
