Most elite of the Region boycotted the meeting convened by the governor. It's like a golden ring on a pigs' nose or a beautiful wife given to a blind, as the people of the North West Region are yet to appreciate the fact that they now have a first division team. After about six years with no team in the first division league, here comes the newly promoted Yong Sports Academy, YOSA in to the MTN Elite one. Yet the population of the region seems not to understand the privileges that come with a first division team. As on several occasions they have turn down the invitation of the YOSA officials to raise funds so as to keep the team alive.
