She has transitioned seamlessly from being the Most Outstanding Player in the 2009 Final Four, to being one of the standouts on the U.S. gold medal team in the World University Games, to playing a key role on the U.S. national team that rolled through a three-game series in Russia last week. This is the same player who until seven months ago seemingly needed to be prodded consistently by UConn coach Geno Auriemma. Those days seem to be over — at least, that's what Auriemma hopes.
