Leeds 27 Catalans 20: Hall well and good - Ryan sends Rhinos to Grand Final

Three tries in four minutes just before half time laid the foundation for Super League champions Leeds to win through to Old Trafford and a record-equalling sixth Grand Final at Headingley last night. Two of them came from the league's top try-scorer Ryan Hall, taking his tally to 33 for the season. But it took a drop goal from home captain Kevin Sinfield and a powerhouse performance from England skipper Jamie Peacock to end spirited French resistance. Now Leeds go to the Theatre of Dreams in search of a third successive Grand Final triumph against the winners of tonight's second qualifying semi-final between St Helens and Wigan.
