Spaniard Ruth Beitia won the women's High Jump at the European Athletics Outdoor Premium Meeting "Gobierno de Aragón" in Zaragoza, Spain, on Saturday. European champion Francis Obikwelu of Portugal had to be content with second place behind world medallist Derrick Atkins of the Bahamas in the much-anticipated 100m finals at the European Athletics Outdoor Premium Meeting "Gobierno de Aragón" in Zaragoza, Spain, on Saturday. Despite a strong tail wind of +3.0, none of the athletes could achieve a sub-10s time. Atkins finished in 10.00s ahead of Obikwelu (10.08) and Samuel Francis of Qatar who also finished with 10.08s.
