U.S. President Barack Obama is in Italy where he will meet with the world's most powerful leaders during the Group of Eight economic summit Wednesday. The three-day annual summit is taking place in L'Aquila, where an April earthquake killed about 300 people. Mr. Obama is meeting in Rome with Italian President Giorgio Napolitano before departing for L'Aquila. The G8 leaders are expected to focus on the global economic recession and at what point the economy is stable enough to stop major stimulus spending.
