NEW YORK - With a prescription for rest in hand, Chien-Ming Wang headed back to the disabled list. He is being shut down until after the All-Star break. The once-dependable starter left Saturday's game one out into the sixth inning when he suddenly lost velocity. An MRI revealed a strained right shoulder and bursitis. To fill the roster spot, reliever Jonathan Albaladejo was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre prior to the game. "We just want to give it rest and a chance to build it back up a little bit, and when he gets back, we'll start playing catch," Yankees manager Joe Girardi said before yesterday's 10-8 win.
