By MIKE DOUGHERTY • GANNETT • July 5, 2009 NEW YORK — With a prescription for rest in hand, Chien-Ming Wang headed back to the disabled list. He is being shut down until after the All-Star break. The once dependable starter left Saturday's game one-out into the sixth inning when he suddenly lost velocity and went for an MRI that revealed a strained right shoulder and bursitis. To fill the roster spot, reliever Jonathan Albaladejo was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre prior to the game. "We just want to give it rest and a chance to build it back up a little bit, and when he gets back, we'll start playing catch," Yankees manager Joe Girardi said before Sunday's 10-8 victory over the Blue Jays. "In a sense, it's a week off, but we have an All-Star break and it ends up being almost two weeks." A starter will be needed...
