CHINA TIMES -- Taiwan's President Ma Ying-jeou demanded an apology from Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega over the latter's absence in a Nicaragua state banquet and had originally wanted to cut short his visit there. -- Taiwan's Nationalist Party and China's Communist Party will hold a cultural and economics forum in the Chinese province of Hunan this coming weekend. China has also invited members of Taiwan's Democratic Progressive Party to participate in the forum.
