Chen and his son Chen Chih-chung are due to appear in Taipei District Court Wednesday, two days after the former leader's wheelchair-bound wife Wu Shu-chen is questioned in court, the state Central News Agency said. Chen, who left office last year after the maximum presidential term of eight years, has been accused of embezzlement, money laundering, accepting bribes, influence peddling and forgery.
