Shentel: Sprint Adds Wireless Network Coverage in York County, Pa.

Jul 03, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Shenandoah Telecommunications (Shentel) announced the addition of an antenna designed to expand broadband mobile network coverage in York County. The new cell site at 16 College Avenue went online Friday, June 5th, giving businesses and residents of Stewartstown access to Sprint. In April 2009, Shentel brought new equipment online along Bull Road in Dover to boost coverage in Dover and Wellsville, and along High Point Road in Felton to bring coverage to the towns of Graydon, Winterstown and Rimely. Previously, Shentel announced the siting of towers in Airville, East Berlin, Mount Wolf, Red Lion, Spring Grove and Thomasville.
