Renegades Split Twin Bill with Vermont Lake Monsters Friday Night

July 3, 2009 - New York-Penn League (NYPL) Hudson Valley Renegades FISHKILL, N.Y. (July 3, 2009) - The Hudson Valley Renegades split the doubleheader with the Vermont Lake Monsters one game apiece. The Renegades took game one, 2-1, and came up short in game two falling to Vermont, 4-2. In the Renegades first doubleheader of the season Dutchess Stadium saw more fans then she has ever seen before. 5,224 fans came out to Dutchess Stadium Friday night to cheer on the Renegades and enjoy some of the best fireworks in the Hudson Valley. The Renegades pitching staff came to play giving up just one hit over seven innings in game one. Starter Alexander Colome hurled 4 2/3 innings of one-hit, one run baseball striking out five.
