Left-hander allows four hits over eight shutout innings DENVER -- The Rockies began a 10-game homestand leading into the All-Star break on the right track as they blanked the D-backs, 5-0, at Coors Field Friday in front of a sellout crowd of 49,026. Left-hander Jorge De La Rosa (5-7) wasn't razor sharp, but he was efficient in picking up the win. De La Rosa didn't allow a runner to reach second base until the sixth inning as he pitched eight shutout innings of four-hit ball, walking four with six strikeouts. The Rockies took a 1-0 lead in the second inning when Ian Stewart deposited Max Scherzer's 93-mph first-pitch fastball into the right-field seats.
