Panama girl, nabbed in '03, said found in Ecuador

QUITO, Ecuador (AP) - Police say an 8-year-old girl in Ecuador is believed to be a Panamanian kidnap victim who was taken from her home as a baby in 2003. Police Col. Enrique Jacome says Ecuadorean woman Maria del Carmen Medina is suspected of kidnapping the girl when she was 18 months old and registering the child as her own daughter.
