Panama City, July 3 (CNA) President Ma Ying-jeou said on Thursday that although the journey to Latin America has been a little bumpy and some incidents have caught his delegation off guard, the bumps have been dealt with well. The issues Ma referred to included a military coup in Honduras that sent incumbent President Manuel Zelaya into exile to Nicaragua just days before Ma's departure for the region, and the suicide of Hall of Fame boxer Alexis Arguello, the mayor of Nicaragua's capital Managua. Ma eventually canceled his plan to visit Honduras but will still travel to Nicaragua after his three day stay in Panama. The trip is Ma's second to Central America this year.
