White House arranges H1N1 flu summit

WASHINGTON, July 2 (UPI) -- White House officials announced an influenza A H1N1 Preparedness Summit with states to prepare for the possibility of a more severe outbreak of swine flu. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, Education Secretary Arne Duncan and Homeland Security Adviser John Brennan are scheduled to host an all-day H1N1 Flu Preparedness Summit July 9 with states, to prepare for the possibility of a more severe outbreak of H1N1 flu in the fall or when school starts.
