Actors, comedians, athletes, poker professionals, and a host of other celebrities will be on hand at the Rio this afternoon for the third annual Ante Up for Africa charity poker tournament. The $5,000 event attracts some of the biggest names in Hollywood, with stars like Matt Damon, Ben and Casey Affleck, Don Cheadle, Sarah Silverman, Brad Garrett, Jason Alexander, and Mekhi Phifer all scheduled to attend. Former and current NBA stars Charles Barkley, Reggie Miller, Jason Kidd, and Shawn Marion have also expressed interest in attending the event. Other sports legends such as Mike Tyson and Herschel Walker will also be in attendance. Proceeds from the tournament will directly benefit Refugees International’s efforts in Darfur and Sudan.
