Newcastle Falcons back rower Alex Gray has been named in the England Under-18s squad for their upcoming tour of South Africa. Gray skippered England through an undefeated spring campaign against Scotland, Japan, Italy and Wales. His England side face three matches on their South African tour, with head coach John Fletcher stating: “Development tours like this are crucial to the progress of talented young players at this age. "Although playing in the Five Nations Festival is hugely important, players also need to compete against the Southern Hemisphere teams as well.
