LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 2, 2009) – The University of Kentucky Department of Theatre has announced its 2009-2010 main stage season of productions to be presented on the historic Guignol Theatre and Briggs Theatre stages. UK Theatre opens its season with the award-winning contemporary play, "The Baltimore Waltz," by Paula Vogel in Briggs Theatre. This giddy, tender, caustic comedy is based on the adventures of a brother and his terminally ill sister. The play will run Sep. 24-26 and Oct. 1-4. The classic play by Henrik Ibsen, "A Doll’s House," lights up the Guignol Theatre in November.
