Source ITN Wolves have announced their return to the Premier League with the signing of Kevin Doyle from Reading. The Irish striker has been signed for an undisclosed fee, although some reports are suggesting Wanderers could be paying a club-record £6.5 million. Doyle, who signed for the Royals from Cork for a nominal fee in 2005, scored 55 goals in 163 games for the Berkshire club, and Wolves claim they beat off competition from other top-flight clubs to recruit the 25-year-old, who has signed a four-year contract at Molineux.
