Hull Kingston Rovers 28-36 Wigan Warriors A sparkling performance from the young stand-off Sam Tomkins helped Wigan recover from a week to forget in a pulsating encounter last night. Tomkins was forced into action after little more than five minutes but created three tries and scored one himself to push the Warriors back into a play-off position. Much of the week had focused on the suspension of Gareth Hock following his positive drugs test while the future of the coach, Brian Noble, continues to be a source of speculation.
