Red Wings take two forwards in second round BY GEORGE SIPPLE • FREE PRESS SPORTS WRITER • June 27, 2009 The Red Wings drafted Landon Ferraro, the son of former NHL player Ray Ferraro, with the 32nd overall pick in the second round today in the NHL Entry Draft. Ferraro, a 6-0, 170-pound forward from Red Deer of the Western Hockey League, scored 37 goals and 18 assists in 68 games this past season.
