The deaths yesterday of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett came as a jolt to baby boomers. I was saddened by the death of Jackson – sadden because he was so young, because he led such a lonely, isolated life, and because he wasn't able to allow anyone close enough to him who could help him make better decisions about his life. Most Americans would like to be rich and famous, myself included. It's a shame that a baby boomer with such talent, who delighted audiences with his music and dancing, and who made so much money had such a bizarre lifestyle and such a distorted perception about what his appearance should be. Farrah Fawcett will always be remembered as one of the private investigators on "Charlie's Angles." With her gorgeous layered blond...
