The Ducks re-acquired right wing Joffrey Lupul in a trade that sent Chris Pronger to the Philadelphia Flyers. Even had he not been nearly certain that team captain Scott Niedermayer would be back next season, Ducks general manager Bob Murray said Friday night he would have traded former Norris Trophy-winning defenseman Chris Pronger to the Philadelphia Flyers anyway. In exchange for Pronger and minor-league left wing Ryan Dingle, the Ducks reacquired sharp-shooting right wing Joffrey Lupul, prize young defenseman Luca Sbisa and first-round selections in this year's and next year's NHL entry drafts.
