It’s taking me a little while to really let it sink in that Michael Jackson is gone but it’s clear that the TV networks are working fast to accept the loss and do their part to honor the pop star. In fact, TV Land is dedicating ten hours of programming to the musical legend by airing the five-hour American Dream miniseries twice this Sunday. As sad as I am over Jackson’s death, I’m pleased that TV Land is going to be airing The Jacksons: An American Dream this weekend. The biographical series, which tells the story of the Jacksons, starting from when Michael’s parents first met and began producing talented children and moving all the way through the Jackson’s lives from Gary, Indiana all the way to California, fame, fortune (and plenty of drama).
