Hollywood memorabilia in a legal mess

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Here's a poser for you movie buffs: What do the white dress worn by Marilyn Monroe in "The Seven Year Itch" and the fur coat, muff and hat worn by Orson Welles in "Citizen Kane" have in common? Beyond their obvious status as movie artifacts, they're both part of a lawsuit filed in Johnson County by a 40-year-old Olathe, Kan., businessman, Gregory J. Orman. Orman, at one time the chief executive of a Great Plains Energy subsidiary, in 2002 lent more than $1 million at 10 percent interest to a museum project intended to showcase the Hollywood memorabilia and costumes accumulated by actress Debbie Reynolds.
