Taiwan's Lin wins it - with a little help from God Monday, November 24, 2008 HONG KONG: Taiwan's Lin Wen-tang said he had a little help from God after a miraculous escape set up his first European Tour win at the Hong Kong Open on Sunday. Lin, surrounded by trees after a hooked drive on the first play-off hole, precision-dropped an incredible wedge shot to within four feet, bringing the crowd to their feet. The 34-year-old from Taipei then hit his approach to within a foot on the second extra hole, tapping in for the 416,660 dollars first prize ahead of Northern Ireland teen Rory McIlroy.
