Saturday, October 11, 2008 By Salis bin Perwaiz Karachi Most traffic policeman do not have many claims to fame, but Inspector Aga Jameel, who received the best performance award for maintaining traffic flow and increasing awareness of traffic rules and regulations, is different. Jameel, head of the Airport Traffic Section, is also a United Nation Mission South West Africa (Namibia) officer. For doing all he could to educate people about traffic rules, Jameel was bestowed with an award of Rs10,000 in cash and a Commanding Certificate (Class-I) from Babar Khattak, Inspector General of Police Sindh. He was recommended for the honour by Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Traffic, Wajid Ali Khan Durrani.
