Former NBA star Charles Barkley might have his colonoscopy televised as part of a "Stand Up to Cancer" special to show on NBC, CBS and ABC next month, the Philadelphia Daily News reported. Barkley will undergo the procedure Friday, and it will be aired Sept. 5. Colonscopies are used to screen for prostate and other cancers. The 45-year-old Barkley is an NBA analyst for Turner Network Television. Barkley played 16 NBA seasons for the Philadelphia 76ers, Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets, and played on the USA Olympic “Dream Team” in 1992 and 1996.
