I am a Muslim first, declares Zulkifli

THE PKR member of parliament who had disrupted a Bar Council forum on conversion and Islam on Aug 9 re-emerged in public yesterday. Zulkifli Nordin, the MP for Kulim Bandar Baharu, is however ada-mant that he did nothing wrong. "For me, Islam comes first. I am a Muslim first, a party member second. A Muslim first, a lawyer second. A Muslim first, an MP second. "You attack Islam, I'll be there, even if I have to do it on my own. Whatever it is, Islam comes first," said Zulkifli, looking agitated when asked about the incident at a press conference at the Parliament lobby yesterday.
