Glenn promises co-operation over donation probe (NZPA)

Expatriate billionaire Owen Glenn says he will co-operate with a privileges committee investigation into his $100,000 donation to Winston Peters as well as preliminary inquiries being carried out by the Serious Fraud Office. Mr Glenn has revealed he has already provided written statements to both the SFO and the privileges committee, The Dominion Post reported today. The committee is investigating whether the New Zealand First leader broke Parliament's rules by failing to disclose the donation. A statement to the newspaper from Mr Glenn's office said he would "co-operate with each body, as may be necessary. "For that reason it is not appropriate for him to comment publicly."
