Scotland was held to a 0-0 draw Wednesday by 10-man Northern Ireland, which missed a second-half penalty in the friendly. The result leaves George Burley still without a win since taking charge of Scotland in January, with the team going into World Cup qualifying next month. The Scots couldn't muster their first friendly victory at Hampden Park in 12 years despite 18-year-old defender Ryan McGivern being sent off on his Northern Ireland debut in the 56th minute for a second booking, after hauling down Celtic midfielder Scott Brown just outside the box.
