In February 2007, I wrote an article published in Celsias entitled "The Coming Energy Shift" that focused on scenarios for reducing transportation emissions. The main takeaways from the article were: Battery powered electricity-to-wheels technologies will begin to lower transportation petroleum usage, shifting fuel emissions to power plant emissions as plug-in cars become numerous.
