Kerry feels badly for Edwards family after affair

The 2004 Democratic presidential nominee says he feels "very, very badly" for the Edwards family, especially Elizabeth Edwards and the couple’s three children. Kerry tapped the former North Carolina senator to serve on their party’s ticket four years ago, but since then they’ve gone their separate ways. Edwards made a second bid for the presidency and is now out of public office, while Kerry is seeking re-election to the Senate.
