Dunedin Hospital is in lockdown for a fourth day as it continues to battle a Norovirus outbreak. Another 16 cases of the vomiting and diarrhoea-causing bug have been reported since 5pm yesterday. Outpatient clinics, planned admissions and elective surgeries scheduled for today have been postponed. Those patients affected have been contacted by the Otago District Health Board. Operations Manager Megan Boivin says management is still concerned at the number of patients and staff who have fallen sick over the past day.
