Skipper sees quiet confidence in his first-place ballclub MIAMI -- Remember in Spring Training 2007, when Lou Piniella mentioned that he wanted the Cubs to develop a "swagger?" They have it. "I had a good friend call who has watched us play, and he said, 'Boy, your team has some swagger,'" Piniella said. "It made me feel good. I got choked up when he told me that. That's what you want. 'Your team has a little swagger.' I didn't bring it up -- he just noticed it by watching our games."
