Cheetos newest ally to Minn. police work

ST. PAUL, Minn., Aug. 8 (UPI) -- Police in St. Paul, Minn., say they followed a trail of Cheetos from a theft at a recreation center to a home where three teenage suspects were found. A Ramsey County, Minn., District Court criminal complaint alleges that after police responded to a burglary report July 29 at the Arlington Recreation Center, they allegedly found a trail of the snack food leading from the scene of the crime, the St. Paul Pioneer Press said. The complaint said police followed the Cheetos trail to a nearby home, where they allegedly found numerous bags of the cheesy snack foods and two bags of chips, the Star Tribune newspaper in Minneapolis said.
