PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian businessman can hire an executive jet, with Switzerland-based VistaJet setting up a hub at the Subang SkyPark Terminal at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport. Hiring a charter executive jet also eliminates the need for huge investments to buy an aircraft and paying the fees for keeping the plane in a hangar. It also saves on fuel costs and hiring a pilot to fly the plane. VistaJet now has two aircraft and by year-end this will increase to 22 that can virtually fly anyone from Malaysia around the globe. VistaJet plans to capture the Asian market from its base in Subang. Once confined to the rich and famous, the executive jet is becoming more popular among business travellers that have to fly several time zones for their meetings.
