(AP) - The Green Bay Packers have reached an agreement to trade quarterback and 3-time NFL most valuable player Brett Favre (fahrv) to the New York Jets. Details of the trade were not immediately available, but the deal ends Favre's 16-year career with the Packers. Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum said there would be another transaction regarding quarterback Chad Pennington, who spent his first eight seasons with New York. BEIJING (AP) - U.S. gymnast Morgan Hamm (hahm) has withdrawn from the Beijing Games, leaving the men's team without anyone with Olympic experience.
