Blues complete Quincy swoop

Former Gunner moves to St Andrews Birmingham have brought Quincy Owusu-Abeyie back to English football from Spartak Moscow. The Ghana international moves to St Andrews on an initial loan deal worth €1.5million, and will run until January. Blues will then have the option of extending the deal to run through to the end of the season. Should the forward remain with the club until next summer Alex McLeish will then make a decision on whether or not to take up the option of a €4.6million permanent transfer.
