By Ron Levanduski • Gannett News Service • August 7, 2008 WATKINS GLEN — Even with a 40 percent chance of rain Saturday, NASCAR fans shouldn't have to worry about missing the Zippo 200 Nationwide Series race at Watkins Glen International. Joe Balash, series director for the Nationwide Series, said the 3 p.m. race is still likely to go on as scheduled if it rains, though racing in the rain would be a last option. “Our first priority would be to race on a dry racetrack,” said Balash, who was en route to Watkins Glen from his base in Concord, N.C., on Wednesday. “We are going to look at how hard it is raining before we make a decision to go to a rain option. “If we could move a practice session or the scheduled race we would probably do that first.
