Yankees Lose To Rangers

ARLINGTON, Texas — - There were no devastating injuries for the Yankees Tuesday night. Just another disappointing loss. The Yankees lost to the Rangers 8-6, a defeat for which there was plenty of blame to be passed around. Andy Pettitte was ineffective for the second straight start. The bullpen crew of David Robertson and Brian Bruney struggled. And the Yankees hit into four double plays. Alex Rodriguez hit into two of them, including the one that ended the game against Eddie Guardado. "It hurts me in my stomach right now," Pettitte said. "My last two starts I've pitched terrible. I've let us down." The second loss in as many days in Texas hurt the Yankees more than the first since they lost ground in the playoff race.
