HOUSTON — The Farmers Insurance Group of Companies is preparing for Tropical Storm Edouard should this storm make landfall in Texas as projected. Farmers has two Customer Care Vehicles, one staged in Houston and one en-route to Beaumont, Texas. These rolling customer service vehicles will be dispatched immediately to the hardest hit areas. Farmers also has its Mobile Catastrophe Claims Center Bus en-route to Texas. This 45-foot claims handling center will also go to the areas of greatest need. Should this storm hit Texas, Farmers Insurance customers with damage should immediately contact their agent or call Farmers' 24-hour-claims hotline, 800-HelpPoint (1-800-435-7764).
