Westbury United 0, Yeovil Town 1. A CROWD in excess of 200 saw a young Yeovil Town team defeat their hosts with a goal midway through the second half in Friday's friendly at Meadow Lane. On a bright, sunny evening the pitch looked in excellent condition following heavy rain earlier in the day. Prior to the match Westbury were presented with their new kit by Ben Tupman of Westbury Packaging. Westbury were the better team in the first half and Yeovil goalkeeper Lloyd Irish made a fine early save from Wayne Wheeler. Westbury's leading scorer from last season had another good chance but a poor first touch was his undoing after he was set up by Nick Ridout.
