Fulham and Birmingham have ground out a hard-fought 1-1 draw at St Andrew's, with Sebastian Larsson stealing an equaliser for the hosts 13 minutes from time. The Cottagers had taken the lead over the recently-relegated Blues through Wales midfielder Simon Davies after 17 minutes and narrowly failed to close out the win after a lacklustre second half display. Bobby Zamora almost gave Fulham the lead with seconds on the clock but his dipping strike squirmed over the crossbar. John Pantsil was fortunate not to concede a penalty when he made a clumsy tackle just outside the box but that was soon forgotten when Davies took possession of a loose pass to charge 40 yards before slotting beyond Maik Taylor.
